This time it is scientists concerned that Trump will ignore the fight against climate change.
According to the scientists organizing the march, in a statement they gave to USA Today, “There are certain things that we accept as facts with no alternatives… Earth is becoming warmer due to human action…”
Here’s the funny thing about science. Scientists are supposed to debate. They are supposed to explore. The notion of “settled science” undermines the whole process of science.
But that’s what these folks are after. They want to shut down any debate. They want to keep any data that doesn’t line up with what they have decided is happening out of the conversation.
Simply put, they want to censor any opposing view… even when that view has a solid footing in the scientific method.
Now, I support science. If global warming is happening and it’s a threat, I want to know that. But I want to know it based on factual evidence… not based on what is clearly a political agenda.
Here’s what you don’t hear in the media. There are many, many scientists who question the theory of man-made global warming. A Nobel-prize winner in physics, Dr. Ivar Giaever, for example. He calls global warming a “non-problem” and said that President Obama was “dead wrong” on this issue.
He’s not alone. But the scientists and green companies getting millions and millions of dollars from the government coffers to support their global warming research and green products… they don’t want you to hear any other opinion. They don’t want you to know there is data to challenge their findings.
And on April 22nd, they’re going to march, in part, in the name of “settled science.”
