Texas Residents Get “Okay” On Using Tap Water

Residents of Corpus Christi, Texas found themselves in a tough situation this last week. They were ordered by government officials not to drink the water coming from their tap. An asphalt company inadvertently contaminated the water supply leaving the water unsafe for human consumption.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the company responsible are working together to clean up the contamination and restore safe drinking water to the area. Within 24 hours of the “not-safe-to-drink” warning some residents had received an all clear. But others were told not to drink their household water until further notice.

This news story begs a couple of questions.

How long were the residents of Corpus Christi drinking unsafe water before they received a warning to stop?

And, on a more personal note, how would you and your family do if you received a notice not to drink the water in your home? Would you have to compete with everyone else in your community for the limited supply of bottled water available through grocery stores? Or would you have another option?

Personally, I like to have a better option. Which is why I’ve created my Off-Grid Water Machine. It could take that unsafe Corpus Christi tap water and turn it into clean, totally safe water at the pace of 100 gallons an hour. And it can run on solar power, so if the grid was down, too, I’d still be able to ensure my family and I had access to safe, clean water for cooking, cleaning, and drinking.

I’ll be sending out more information about this amazing new invention of mine, so keep an eye for it!

Oh, and check out the mess in Corpus Christi, so you can see what I mean.
