Proof Hillary Lied About Benghazi

The House Republicans concluded an in-depth investigation of the September 11, 2012 attack on Benghazi and they released their report this last week.

The 800-page report focuses on why our ambassador was in Benghazi with a barebones security team, when every other one of our allies had pulled their diplomatic forces out.

It looks at embarrassing miscommunications during the hours of the Benghazi attack. As an example, there was a big debate over whether marines should go in wearing uniforms or not. According to one commander, marines preparing to assist the besieged CIA annex in Benghazi were ordered to change clothes four times.

In all, the Republican report handles the issue with political kid gloves.

Where things really get interesting is in an additional report published by Jim Jordan of Ohio and Mike Pompeo of Kansas.

Their supplemental report offers a scathing look at the decisions made during the Benghazi attack and at the response of the Obama administration during the attack and its aftermath as well as during subsequent investigations.

The Jordan-Pompeo report is 51 pages long and based on the same investigations and evidence gathered for the main report.

They conclude what many readers of Independent Living already know…

  • Hillary Clinton knew almost immediately that the attack in Benghazi was happening and that it was a terrorist attack, but decided for political reasons—to protect Obama’s upcoming election bid—to spin it as a protest over a YouTube video.
  • Clinton and Obama knew security was subpar in Benghazi and that the danger was high but refused additional security to the diplomatic outpost there.
  • The story that the U.S. military could not have reached Benghazi in time to provide meaningful assistance is a lie.
  • The Obama administration refused to provide important documentation about that night to the investigatory committee, so many of the facts remain hidden.

Benghazi is one of the ugliest things to ever happen to our nation. Read the Jordan-Pompeo report to see just how ugly things got.
